President & Founder
Mr. David A. Hill serves as the President of DHill Professional Services, LLC, a boutique advisory law firm specializing in providing services to small and medium size businesses, as well as non-profit entities, both in the DMV and nationally.
An advocate of numerous causes and advisor to many, Mr. Hill has enjoyed a successful career spanning almost thirty years in various capacities. David spent more than a decade as a senior executive at a Fortune 20 Company, Verizon, where he served as the general counsel of three operating companies, oversaw national high stakes litigation while managing a team of superstar attorneys, and served as a liaison between Verizon and the Obama Administration.
As a partner in the national law firm of Wong Fleming, P.C., the largest woman owned law firm and one of the largest minority owned law firms in the United States, the General Counsel of a start up company in the Healthcare space, and as a board member on numerous non-profit entities, David brings his diverse experiences to bear in solving client challenges. David began his career as an associate with the law firm of Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells), where he was the lead counsel in Wilkins v. Maryland State Police, a landmark case that led to the end of the use of race-based drug courier profiles in the state of Maryland.
Educated at Wesleyan University and Harvard Law School, David’s civic involvement includes service as a member of the Montgomery County Charter Review Commission, the Board of Montgomery Hospice, the immediate past Board Chair of Leadership Montgomery (Montgomery County, MD), and as a Steward at the Kingdom Fellowship AME Church in Silver Spring, MD.
